On 24 June 2026, Shanghai Clearing House (SHCH) attended the 2026 Annual General Meeting of the Global Association of Central Counterparties (CCPG) in Amsterdam, where the election results for the new term of the Executive Committee were announced. SHCH was successfully re-elect and Mr. Huang Ning, Deputy General Manager of SHCH, serves as a member of the Executive Committee.
The successful re-election of SHCH enables China to continue its direct participation in cross-border regulatory coordination and international standard-setting in the central counterparty clearing sector. This will further consolidate and enhance the international influence of China's financial market infrastructure, deepen international exchanges and cooperation, and accelerate the building of Shanghai as an international financial center and the advancement of high-standard financial opening-up, and participate in global financial governance.
CCPG is an international financial industry association composed of central counterparty clearing institutions globally, established in 2001. CCPG currently has 45 member institutions from major global economies, and serves as an important partner to international regulatory organizations and regulatory authorities of various countries. By proposing regulatory recommendations and developing industry standards, it plays an important and positive role in areas such as financial market reform and cross-border regulatory coordination.
