Recently, Shanghai Clearing House (SHCH) and Asset Management Association Of Shanghai (SAMA) co-hosted the Interbank Market Business Conference for Asset Management Institutions. Over 120 representatives, covering more than 50 asset management institutions such as bank wealth management companies, asset management firms and public funds, together with general clearing members of Shanghai Clearing House, participated in the conference.


At the conference, SHCH introduced the business development, as well as progress in central counterparty clearing for interest rate and credit derivatives, central counterparty clearing, issuance, registration and custody of bonds, and value-added services for bond valuation indices and risk management. The conference aimed to strengthen cooperation between financial market infrastructures and industry associations, leverage the advantages of central counterparty clearing, and support asset management institutions to better allocatbond assets and boost the use of derivatives to enhance risk-management capabilities.

In the future, SHCH will support more asset management institutions to participate interbank bond and derivatives businesses and facilitate the construction of Shanghai International Financial Center.
