On 18 August 2026, Mr. Zhou Lei, Chairman of Orient Securities, visited Shanghai Clearing House (SHCH). Mr. Ma Jianyang, Chairman of SHCH, hosted the meeting. Mr. Wu Zezhi, Vice President of Orient Securities and Vice Chairman of the Shanghai OTC Commodity Derivatives Association, and Mr. Huang Ning, Deputy General Manager of SHCH, attended the meeting.


The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including further supporting the high-level opening up of the financial market, expanding CCP clearing services, and advancing the development of carbon finance and the OTC commodities market. The two sides agreed to further deepen and broaden cooperation in areas including IRS, CDS and commodity derivatives. Both sides will also explore greater opportunities for collaboration in the Yulan issuance model and Free Trade Zone Offshore Bonds, financial bond issuance and underwriting, as well as CCP services for bonds, foreign exchange and other products. By leveraging the respective role as a key national financial market infrastructure and a comprehensive securities firm, the two institutions aim to better support the development of Shanghai as an international financial center, and promote RMB internationalization and high-quality development of financial markets.
