On 22 October, 2026, Jason Forrester, Chief Risk Officer of Standard Chartered Goup visited Shanghai Clearing House (SHCH). Mr.Ma Jianyang, Chairman of SHCH, presided over the meeting. Mrs.Rong Yihua, Deputy General Manager of SHCH, attended the meeting.
The two sides held in-depth discussions on CCP risk management, application of artificial intelligence, cross-border regulatory recognition, development of overseas clearing members and international business cooperation. The two sides agreed to further deepen cooperation to jointly support the development of Shanghai as an international financial center, advance the high-level two-way opening-up of China’s financial markets, promote RMB internationalization, and achieve mutually beneficial cooperation.
